Nanobased composites are a fast growing technological field. Nowadays in Russia, RUSNANO, ROSATOM, Russian Technologies, United Aircraft Corporation actively support and participate in a fundamentally new composites industry that uses high technology. Success of investment projects implemented in Russia directly depends on training of specialists highly experienced in composites. This can be solved by a special education program targeted at a new generation of specialists.
Thus, the objective of this Master’s Program is to train highly experienced research-and-development engineers, industrial engineers, design engineers and managers to efficiently maintain the industry nationwide.
MSU and RAS leading scientists have devised fundamental courses (approx. 20% of the program) to provide essential knowledge in composites, a number of novel lecture and practical courses (approx. 50% of the program.) The special focus is on social and economic lecture courses (approx. 30% of the program) targeted at managers and marketing specialists in composites.
The program will provide students with indispensable knowledge and practical experience in composites, marketing and management, conversational English to communicate with international counterparts. After completion of the program and defense of Master’s degree papers, students receive Master’s degrees from MSU.
